Castle Lite partners with Rouge for their 250ml launch

No stranger to the brand, Rouge has partnered up with Castle Lite again for the launch of their new 250ml bottle design. The new design was launched at the New York Runway ZA event at the Cape Town Marriott Hotel Crystal Towers, in a showcase of innovation across different design spheres.

The first of its kind, the New York Runway ZA event showcased designers fresh off the New York Fashion Week runways together with South African designers in a cross-continental display of style and artistic expression. NY designers included VanElse by Else Hardjo, Honee for House of Honee, Celebrity fashion designer Michael Lombard and ESTE & CHLO by Henry Picado.

Representing the forefront of local fashion is SA’s King of couture Jacques LaGrange, BeachCult by Joanna Hedley, ZED Menswear and KLûK CGDT.

With its new bottle shape boasting an ultra-stylish bodice, as well as a specially designed indented neck, Castle Lite found the New York Runway ZA a befitting occasion to launch its new product to an industry that’s popular for aesthetic expression. The Castle Lite new 250ml is a first in the South African beer category. Castle Lite Brand Director Silke Bucker commented “We are passionate about innovation, with a premium design aesthetic, that plays, collaborates and experiments within design, to unlock extraordinary enjoyment for our consumers.” She added “The smaller serving size and sophisticated shape make the new pack both attention-grabbing and unique. We considered our consumers preferred beer drinking occasions and launched a convenient size to suit their extra cold enjoyment experience.”

Dressed in an incredible Orapeleng Modutle creation, Rouge was in attendance. She also took to the runway later on that night. Having created a track inspired by the bottle design, being part of the experience took it full circle through a music, fashion, and lifestyle design innovation.
