Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino hosted Saturday Night Live this past weekend and immediately after the show dropped the mesmerising “This is America”.
The accompany visuals had the internet abuzz throughout Sunday. The video which is an accurate portrayal of the state of Trump’s America depicts the violence and racism which has become everyday life for black people. Trayvon Martin’s dad even makes a cameo at the beginning of the video.
In a time when the likes of Kanye West are confusing the masses with warped rhetoric it’s good to see a brilliant artist like Donald Glover release art that is an accurate reflection of the times.
Oh, and peep the smooth SA dances in the choreography.
