MsCosmo has dropped a powerhouse of an anthem for Women’s Month titled “Baningi”. She features Sho Madjozi, Dee Koala and Nelisiwe Sibiya on the track as well, continuing her tradition of well curated collaborations on her singles.
Of the track, she says, “I’ve always wanted to make a proudly South African song and the combination of these three ladies hit the nail on the mark with achieving that. I’m a big fan of all the three of them so it made it a great fit”.
With Sho Madjozi’s Xitsonga verse, Dee Koala’s Xhosa raps, and Nelisiwe Sibiya’s incredible vocals, she did just that. Ms Cosmo also adds a verse of her own on the track, “a girl on a mission”.
