Cape Town based artist, Uno July, has combined forces with none other than the critically acclaimed lyricist, Reason on his latest track, Guess What I’m Doin’. The track is a single from Uno July’s 24 Hour Project “Zero Hour Zone”. Originally, the song was recorded during the execution of the project, which took place in Cape Town at the Red Bull Studios in November 2016.
The production style on the song is one of a kind and was produced by Skinniez, a 808-driven and drum-oriented beat programmed consistently with minimal sampling melodies and instrumentation. Uno July and Reason both admit that “Guess What I’m Doin” is a rap song about having a good time. The song is a hookless execution consisting of a witty bar-for-bar marathon by both artists, as we have now gotten to known them.
