Busiswa teams up with Kamo Mphela for her single release “SBWL” and bags new distribution deal

Busiswa has released a new single today featuring Kamo Mphela, titled “SBWL”. The Xhosa queen has also announced her new distribution deal with leading global distribution and artist and label services company The Orchard.

Of the track, she said, ““SBWL is local township lingo that South Africans have made popular on social media. This kind of song, this kind of collaboration between two dance queens is important and relevant at this time because there is a notion out there that females don’t want to collaborate with each other so I am excited to be releasing this with Kamo.”

This will mark the first piece of work for Busiswa through her own label Majesty Music Entertainment that will be distributed by global distribution and artist and label services company The Orchard, which Busiswa declares “is a project about me”.
“The project that I am working on is going to feature a lot of prolific producers like DJ Maphorisa, Kabza da Small, Mas Musiq, Dj Clap, Pex Africah, Female Nigerian Producer by the name of Dunnie – its sounding beautiful.”
“I want to make it all about me even though I am working on future collaborations this project is about me taking up space and claiming my place in the industry and becoming not just a features girl but being more than that a female who stands her own ground, on her own and her own projects. I am excited for people to hear it,” concluded the singer.
