DJ Stokie Cover Art Competition

DJ Stokie Extends His Journey By Empowering Animators, With Superman Cover Art Competition

DJ Stokie uses his platform to showcase his Sowetan roots and uplifts local talent. The artist has launched a competition that will highlight black animators in South Africa.

The Superman Cover Art competition is an extension of his annual two-day event titled DJ Stokie’s Annual Christmas Party which the hitmaker uses as a charity drive to raise funds for the people of Soweto. The cover art competition will see DJ Stokie use his platform to give back to the community by using his music and art, to help launch the story behind Kasi Heroes.

The competition is aimed at showcasing black animators and giving them a platform to take their talents to new avenues. The mechanics of the competition require public engagement and encourage an interest in an epoch of the creative artists not usually encouraged.
