In an exquisite event on Thursday night, MAC Cosmetics launched their collaboration with actress, model, and TV personality, Pearl Thusi. On the 1st March, M·A·C Cosmetics will launch two limited-edition product kits with Pearl. Each kit, named ‘ME’ and ‘Power’, features a selection of some of Pearl’s favourite existing M·A·C products, curated by Pearl herself.
This is a first for the brand as it will be the first time that M·A·C Cosmetics has done a product collaboration with a South African public figure.
The collaboration is inspired by two distinct sides of Pearl Thusi:
‘ME’ is a full-look kit, featuring four different M·A·C products. Use this selection to create a natural, glowing look and bring out your most authentic and beautiful self.
‘Power’, which is the entry-level kit, features two M·A·C favourites. Use your POWER kit to create a daring look – revealing the boldest, most powerful version of you to the world.
Pearl credits MAC for giving her the confidence and tools to start exploring and embracing both her inward and outward beauty from a young age. She has extensive MAC product knowledge and often ‘mixes and matches’ products to customize them and create tailored looks for her. For this collection, Pearl embraces this concept with a range of products that can be used alone or together to create new looks that will suit every skin tone, occasion and mood.
