Xenlaii debuted his SURF : AM EP in June last year and curated a multisensory experience around its release. Not quite ready to drop his debut album, but having recorded new music, he came through with the deluxe edition a few weeks ago.
With five new tracks added to the EP, he has a few new features on it as well. SimmySimmyNya, Touchline, and Jumping Black Sash add to the rap and electronic soundscapes, and Xenlaii describes the project as “a story of extreme highs and lows, like the tide dancing to the gravitational pull of the moon.”
