Frank Sinatra’s memorable lyrics reverberate throughout Terence Neale’s soul-stirring short film for adidas originals and accompany a slew of powerful and hard-hitting images. Kendal Jenner in a ski-fi pod; Young Thug, Playboi Carti and 21 Savage in formation; James Harden saddled up in a bathtub filled with ice; a dessert driving sequence a la Mad Max and then finally all the celebrities posing in a manner reminiscent of Da Vinci’s “Vitruvian Man”.
This 3rd spot is masterfully curated and evokes real emotion. It is a bit more gritty and aggressive than the first 2 spots, qualities that make it the best piece in our opinion. adidas Originals is synonymous with attitude and doing things your way and this short film does the brand justice.
