Blxckie and A-Reece’s legion of fans have something to feast on in the form of the two cult heroes’ collaboration “Sneaky”. Produced by SoulKit and Herc Cut The Lights, “Sneaky” finds the two artists each talking about a sneaky link who’s also a ride a die and whom they have an unbreakable bond with, respectively.
Refering to his sneaky link, Blxckie sings, “Please leave my clothes on when you leave/ I know I got drip, pardon my steeze/ Girl look what you started with me/ Fuck you good I’m like a god in the sheets/ Don’t be afraid, I’m like a dog on a leash…”
A-Reece gets on his playboy pimp swag, rapping, “I know for a fact ain’t nobody replacing me/ Breaking her off, I ate it so good she ended up fixing a plate for me/ Ain’t gotta force her to stay with me/ Nothing a hater can say to me/ She telling me, ‘If I’m your ride or die, I’m taking that dick to the grave with me’/ I fall in love when she talking that way…”
“Sneaky” is a single that will be part of the upcoming 4LUVDLX project. Blxckie is gearing up to release it on the 09 August 2022. The project is a continuation of the KZN native’s R&B-centric project 4LUV, dropped in the month of love earlier this year. The deluxe edition will have an addition of 4 new songs, including “Sneaky”, taking the total to 10 songs.
Speaking about the project, Blxckie said, “luv is a constant, evolving part of our lives. As luv is a constant, so is music and the need to narrate our everyday lives using this art form. Departing from the stories told on my EP 4LUV, I’m excited to bring ongoing narratives to the ear detailing poetic stories on luv, emotion and dive more into RnB BLXCKIE with 4LUVDLX.”
