This Freedom Day, Budweiser presents #BudX Kings Of Music. Headlined by the incomparable Black Coffee, this event promises and incredible night of live music performances, bespoke fashion exhibitions, fashion giveaways, and more. In the heart of Braamfontein, Shine Studios will host this epic event overlooking the Johannesburg city skyline.
Known around the world, Black Coffee is an icon of dance music and one of SA’s most well-known artists. Boasting an exceptional career, over the past two years he’s performed at festivals such as Coachella, Tomorrowland, New York’s Terminal 5, The Apollo Theatre, and Sonar Festival in Barcelona. He’s also had residencies at both Hï Ibiza and Wynn Las Vegas, landed a show on Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio, released a single with David Guetta, and won the Best Deep House DJ award for the third year running at the DJ Awards in Ibiza.
He heads back to Ibiza this European summer for a residency that kicks off at the end of May all the way through to early October. Before he leaves, we have one night with the legend in a celebration of music and fashion that includes supporting acts Lamiez Holworthy, Da Capo, Goodluck Live, Shimza, and the Distruction Boyz.
Hosted on Freedom Day, the Kings of Music event is a celebration of artistry in South Africa and freedom to explore it in its various facets. Giving artists the platform to share and explore that artistry, #BudX continues to create unique experiences that SA music lovers can vibe to.
