Butter Entertainment presents: DEAD. Pop-up Music Festival
The inaugural DEAD. pop-up party took place in one of South Africa’s leading street culture cities, Cape Town, on January 14th. The event was aimed at offering the city’s DEAD. fans a conceptual apparel event with the opportunity to engage directly and purchase coveted items from the DEAD. collection. The event moved on to Johannesburg on March 21st with the inclusion of more upcoming acts to showcase their talents on their platform, in order to expand their reach, which in essence corresponds with DEAD. Radio’s main purpose. Each event has its own theme; the first being a house party, second being a pool party and the third will be a music festival.
The importance of an event such as the DEAD. pop-up Music Festival is to open up the industry and offer emerging talent a live platform to interact with their respective audiences and hone their skills as budding artists.
DEAD. has partnered up with Butter Entertainment, a Cape Town and Pretoria based agency, to present the DEAD. Pop-up Music Festival which will take place on April 29 2017, from 15:00 CAT until late at Arcade Empire, which is in Pretoria East. Tickets will be available at the door for R60 before 21:00, R100 after.
The performers for the day will be as follows: Culture Cartel, TTGO, SpaceSaveLogic, Remmix Thrillermaster, Skitz, Luna, TrashGodd, Windows 2000, Mblee, Tumi Luciano, SMG, Cxntent, 25K THE PLUG, Majikzar, Pxsh & Quez Peru.
On the ones and twos, they’ll have Fijitsu, Mr. Vuittots, Dj Enzo, RnB Joe, Snow Deep, ANDISUSEJ & Menzi XL.
DEAD. merchandise will be available for purchase on the day, brought to you by The Playground SA. Tattoo artists will also be available, courtesy of InCity Ink Tattoos.
