Focalistic hit a new high in his career milestones with his sold-out show, the Straata Nation Address. Held at the Pretoria National Botanic Gardens this past weekend, Foca had 15,000 fans in attendance at a show that solidified the artist as President Ya Straata.
The muso took to Instagram to thank his fans and show appreciation for his mom, saying, “In all of these videos, I keep remembering that my MOM WAS WATCHING ME PERFORM FOR THE FIRST TIME😭 I can’t say thank you enough!!! History was made!! Everything is possible with GOD!!” He went on to announce a new concert date next year, with the next show of this nature being on the 14 September 2024.
The lineup included performances by Blxckie, a G-Tech 2bit and DJ Tshegu, Sjava, MurdahBongz, Dj PH, Tyler ICU, Pabi Cooper, and the dynamic duo Mellow & Sleazy as supporting acts. He also had a talent search leading up to the event, with three young hopefuls winning the opportunity to share the stage as opening acts.
We’ve become accustomed to Focalistic delivering visual spectaculars with his album launches and various other live performances. He took that imagination to the production of this show, with a levitating stage added another dimension to his performance. A choir also took to the stage to perform various renditions of Focalistic’s hits.
