Nasty C Signs With Universal And Gets Ready for a 27 City Tour

Rumours about Mabala Noise’s demise have been circulating faster than a wikileak in newsrooms. Our sources have indeed confirmed that the label is shutting down with the owner Reggie Nkabinde choosing to focus on politics.

This predicament has obviously presented a massive opportunity for the label’s marquee artist Nasty C to finally embark on an international career, something that was a serious possibility 2 years ago when Roc Nation came calling and before Reggie snatched him up with untold millions.

Our sources tell us that Nasty C is officially signed to Universal Music Group (home to Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne et al) and is no longer part of Mabala Noise. The diminutive MC is also looking at relocating to the United States in pursuit of a full-blown American career. This could turn our to be a major breakthrough for SA Hip Hop!

As if the above is not enough, we have also got word that Nasty C will be going on a 27 city/town tour this Winter in support of his sophomore album IVYSON. The tour will kick off in June and will hit every major town in Southern Africa.

2018 is looking like it will be an insane year for the KZN native. All the best to him!
