Nasty C’s Zulu Man With Some Power is finally here

Dropping five singles prior to the album release, Nasty C’s third album has been released today. On the album, he features an artist who’s been a lifelong inspiration of his, T.I., as well as Ari Lennox, Tellaman, Rowlene, Lil Gotit, and. Lil Keed.

Sipho Dlamini, of UMGSA and Def Jam Africa, noted in last night’s listening session that the album had broken the record for the highest number of album pre-additions for an album in South Africa on Apple Music, as well as the biggest pre-add for a local artist in South Africa, and the biggest pre-add globally for a South African artist, a testament to the strength of his fan base. He’s also being featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday billboard in Times Square in New York for 24 hours.

Yesterday, he premiered his Origins documentary on Apple Music, a look into his upbringing and the trajectory of his career. Of the album, he says, “It’s an exciting time and I can’t wait to hear the feedback from my fans. I offered them something a little different with this album. I have some great features from artists that I respect. Check it out. I don’t think you will be disappointed.”
