Shane Eagle’s Album Colour Spectrum Has A New Addition With ‘Green’

Shane Eagle has released his new album Green after much anticipation. The project is an ambitious 18-track musical journey which boasts only two credited features, that of American film and television star Omari Hardwick – who occasionally dabbles in spoken word poetry and rap, as well as American rapper redveil. The former features on one of the stand out song on the project, titled “Road Signs” and the latter on the 2021 released “SKYDREAM”. Shane released “Numerology” as the first single of the album on February 25th when announcing its upcoming release.

Green is Shane Eagle’s fourth full-length project since his debut album Yellow, which was released in 2017. His catalogue includes Never Grow Up (2018) and Dark Moon Flower (2019). He has also released numerous singles and worked on multiple features in between releasing full-length albums. In 2020, he released a visual album called XENERGY: THE FINAL SAGA. Green adds to a steadily growing and impressive catalogue that is sure to only get better from the young emcee.

A diverse but measured project, the soundscapes in green range from full on trap to boom bap, with Shane showcasing his prowess and growth on most of the songs as the album progresses. Stand out songs include “Sistine Chapel”, “Road Signs” featuring Omari Hardwick, “Pillow”, “War Paint” and “Break The Loop” – of which in it, he raps the revealing lines, “I don’t fuck with no nigga, I only fuck with Cole, dreams of him signing me, we can hit the road, and tell him how Bas we came to link, how I lost my pops when I was with Lute to the show, he put this whole shit together and he ain’t even know….”.
