If The Shining, The Exorcist, or Friday the 13th are some of your favourite classic horror films, Vans‘ new collection might pique your interest. Bringing iconic horror scenes to life, they’ve interpreted some of film’s scariest moments across footwear and apparel pieces with the Vans x Horror collection.
The collection shows images from the terrifying twins of The Shining and devilishly possessed characters of The Exorcist and The Lost Boys, to the maniacal minds in Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, and IT.
The SK8-Hi’s have bright repeated text logo from The Shining, plus handwritten script callout across the outsole. The men’s apparel offering in the Vans x Horror pack includes scenes from Friday the 13th using the fleece pullover printed with a glow-in-the-dark hockey mask and Freddie Kruger’s claws tearing across the A Nightmare on Elm Street Ward Crossbody body pack in 600D poly.
For women’s apparel, it’s all about The Shining. The movie’s terrifying twins are featured alongside a vintage wallpaper print on a baby tee. Capping it off is the Vans x The Shining hat with a sweetly sinister bow and embroidered “Off The Wall” logo.
Additional Horror footwear styles include the Classic Slip-On, the Slip-Skool, and the Style 47 Creeper. Women’s apparel and accessories pieces also highlight the cotton jersey boyfriend fit tee, while men’s apparel features the fleece pullover, short sleeve tee and crew socks.
