Nasty C has a new release today. It’s the next track off his upcoming album Zulu Man With Some Power, which now has a release date. The ZMWSP dropped the album artwork and let us know that the album will be dropping on the 28th August.
In the meantime, he’s released another track off the album today, “Palm Trees”. Sampling the 80s TV series Knight Rider’s theme song, the Palm Trees video has what looks like a 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am in it as well. The Pontiac is the car that embodied the character KITT in the show, an artificially intelligent electronic computer module in the body of a car with advanced capabilities.
Apart from the Knight Rider references, the Kyle Lewis directed video packs a powerful visual punch in its two and half minutes. We could have a field day with all the double entendres the lyrics provide but we’d be here for too long. Check out the video below.
