Very little comes close to velvet smooth vocals over a banging beat. Angie Santana delivers just that on her new single “Money” featuring Indigo Stella.
The singer, songwriter, and performing artist has been captivating us since her breakout single “RnB & Hennessy” in 2017 and with her 2018 release “Don’t Waste My Time.” She has since gone the independent route and is celebrating that with a single that epitomises her go-getter attitude. Interpolating T.I’s 2014 release “About The Money” on the hook, she lets us know that if it aint about the money, she aint about it. Indigo Stella compliments the vocals perfectly with her raps and together they give us [as the Saweetie reaction video goes] “something fun, something for the summertime, something for the girls to get ready and party to.”
Of the track, Santana says “Money is a fun song that caters to both R&B and Hip-Hop through its unique combination of vocals, witty raps, booming beats and head-bopping snares that I can only hope that will convert into an anthem that will have you guys singing along the way my friends and I already are!”
