ByLwansta made the decision to release his debut album in three parts, with four tracks at a time. With SpijØnget Chapter I released in March, we’ve come to the second part of his album, Chapter II, released today.
The project – in it’s totality – chronicles the ups and downs of his move to Johannesburg. He tackles issues of distance in his relationship, crime in the city, and of being conflicted between career choices.
The idea to put the album out piece by piece came to him after he’d made the first four tracks and hit a creative block. Not wanting to sit with the music indefinitely, he decided to release it in three parts.
