Flvme’s Releases Single “Let Me Down” As He Also Announces Partnership with Platoon

Releasing his first single of the year, “Let Me Down”, South African hip hop artist FLVME also announced a partnership with artist services and music distribution company Platoon. This partnership is pivotal in that it will helm the release of FLVME’s upcoming and highly anticipated project Germander II.

Platoon is an Apple-owned company best known for working with emerging and established artists alike by helping host their music for easy distribution.

FLVME is one of the most exciting hip hop artists in the country and is part of the crop of artists who cut their teeth at Ambitiouz Records. He was part of the label’s roster from 2016 and went on to be part of the A-Reece led collective The Wrecking Crew, before branching out on his own. He is now a highly sought after solo artist with an impressive discography of his own. His debut EP Clouds was followed by Do Not Disturb (with Zoocci Coke Dope) and Germander. He then released D.O.A (Dead Or Alive) in 2020 and While You Wait EP in 2021. His official debut album Candyman, released in 2019, is critically acclaimed and it earned him two nominations at the 2019 South African Hip Hop Awards in the categories Best Newcomer and Best Male.
Speaking about his latest single, “Let Me Down”, he says: “

“The song is about accepting what is and understanding that I have to go through a lot in order to grow, overall it’s just about finding peace within myself,”
