Thebe Magugu dropped a t-shirt line earlier this year and dubbed it “Extracurricular”. Speaking to Vogue about the line, he said, “I wanted to create a space that’s youth-facing, prioritizing ideas of community, inclusion, and most importantly, the light-heartedness I have so missed in 2020.”
A few months later he’s collaborated with Castle Lite on a new range, combining the Extracurricular brand with Castle Lite’s Extra Cold for the Castle Lite Drop. “From classroom to extracurricular activities to socializing with friends, we designed a collection for people on the move – the Urban Nomads. Living life in the now, moving fluidly between work and play, meeting different people and seeing different places is how they forge their own future path. This collection of functional streetwear fits perfectly into their lifestyle, as the pieces evolve with the occasions.”
Launching this past Saturday on Dipstreet, Grade Africa, and Superbalist, check out the capsule collection below.
